Tutor Students Online
Similarly to teaching english online as a second language, you also need some form of degree and also teaching experience to tutor students online. You can teach them on any subject that you want to offer.
Each company has their own specific requirements but you can check their websites for details. A few to check out include tutor.com, K12, and Chegg Tutors.
Join High Paying Research Studies
You’ve probably heard that you could make money filling out surveys while watching television and it is true. However, not all survey sites are created equal. You have to know the right ones to join that will be worth your time and will give you more money and more opportunities to do them.

This is something I used to be part-time after a full day of teaching. You don’t actually need to be a teacher to tutor kids at home. You just need to be knowledgable in a particular subject. You could tutor elementary school kids in simple math or help them with reading.
This is what I did and could charge an hourly rate of $25/hr minimum even if you are not a certified teacher (I charged $35-40/hr when I was tutoring because I’m a certified teacher). Keep in mind, the rate will vary according to where you live.
Pet Sitter Jobs
If you love dogs, consider a job as a dog walker and sitter! You’d be surprised how many people are looking for this service for their pets and there’s a website called Rover that connects people willing to pet sit with dog owners. You don’t need any special skills; you just need to love dogs!
